Need Help Running a Second OpenLDAP instance on RHEL 5.5

I have a RHEL 5.5 64 bit server running OpenLDAP 2.3x as a daemon on the server.

I need to run a second instance with a different database and ports.

I have created a second db folder and a second slapd.conf file but can't get the ldap executable to accept the -f and -h switches.

The OpenLDAP version I installed is the rpm based one from RH so it's not the version you download and build from Openldap.org.

It does not appear that the ldap executable has the option to accept an alternate config file and port assignments.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
