resized a logical volume; wrong order

I am not sure what to do. I have a fedora 16 server, and I re-sized the logical volume before I re-sized the filesystem. Now the computer will only boot into emergency mode, and fsck says physical size and superblock do not match.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved, thanks to previous installation of webmin. Got the idea to edit /etc/fstab and comment out the line where it tries to mount the trouble volume. It booted and then I used webmin remotely and told it to create a new filesystem on the logical volume. It worked fine, and now the computer is working.
