    Query on cpu resources consumed by IPTraf


    Hi All,

    I am impressed with the functionality of IPTraf and I wanted to use this utility on production server (where network is in Gigabit).

    Before using that I wanted to know the CPU, Ram resources consumed by IPTraf.

    Kindly share me with the Reviews and Experiences.

    You can monitor your cpu and ram usage with "top" command or "htop" command

    For ram usage you can type this command "free -m"

    You can monitor and measure your servers resources

    You can also use the sar utility to generate reports on system resources, I wrote a post with a few examples, which can be found here
