Redhat 9 with Kyocera printer
Hi all,
This is about a strange issue of Kyocera printer with RedHat 9 over a network.
The problem is like this- The Kyocera printer is connected to a Windows PC and is has been shared. On the network I have some PC's that run on RedHat 9. The configuration for the printing has been done on all Linux PCs. RedHat 9 has drivers for Kyocera printers ( FS 1010 and FS 3800) that I am using. So it easily recognizes the remote printer that is connected on the Windows machine. Now the issue is when a print is given from the Linux PC, the printout that I get shows this -
"<</HWResolution[600 600]>>setpagedevice".
<</HWResolution[600 600]>>setpagedevice
Whatever I print, I get only the same result. I have tried changing things in /etc/cups/ppd/Kyocera-FS3800.ppd, but still no luck. All share names are configured properly.
Any ideas, solutions for this problem ???
Thanks in advance
