    locations for panel menu entries

    I'm looking for a list of locations where the Gnome panel's menu entries are defined. I'm aware of /usr/share/applications as well as /home/<user>/.local/share but where else are they read from? I ask because there is an obsolete entry in the menu that I want to get rid of and I can't find it!

    I found it! /usr/local/applications is also scaned for panel menu entries.
