    The only static img files that are on the CentOS iso are these:

    /iso/images/efiboot.img
    /iso/images/efidisk.img
    /iso/images/install.img
    /iso/images/pxeboot/initrd.img
    /iso/isolinux/initrd.img

    I think stage2.img might be a CentOS 5 thing. That link you referenced is specifically for CentOS 5, and the corresponding CentOS 6 version of the article doesn't mention anything about a stage2.img.

    Okay, then like I said in #8, i think you want to look at install.img.

    You known, I misread your posting in #8. For some reason I read your mention of install.img as initrd.img. I think it's a good bet that in fact install.img is the image I'm looking for. I'll have to check it out...
