testing the Finisar SFP+ on intel gigabit ethernet server adaptors
Greetings Friends,
I am relatively new to Linux. I want to test my Finisar SFP+ on intel gigabit ethernet server adaptor cards (x520-DA2) by doing some performance tests.
I am using th Iperf tools to test the bandwidth.
I want to verify the speeds of my 10 Gigabit ethernet interfaces experimentaly. So I took two systems each with the gigabit cards and connected them with mulitmode fiber.
I want to now force the data to go through the 10 Gigabit interface and not on the regular 1 gigabit ethernet interface.
I dont know how to configure the data to push through the 10G cards, in my fedora 14 os.
So any help is appreciated.

See the route command.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
