Fedora 16 stored in /dev/sda5 falls back to the dracut shell on boot
I use kernel 3.4.11 and 3.6.2-1 in fedora 16. Since the last few bootups it falls to the dracut shell showing that it doesnot recognise the partition /dev/sda5. How can i get back out from this to the fall mode of gnome??
Also to be mentioned that the same partition is recognised by the grub in ubuntu 12.04 when i update the grub using "sudo update-grub2"
NB -> if messages are needed please lead me to give you the correct messages.

What is on sda5? Is that your Fedora / partition? or is it a /boot partition? Are you booting with Ubuntu Grub2 in the mbr directly to Fedora or are you chainloading Fedora? or are you booting with Fedora Grub2 in the mbr?
