Cannot use VGA2 with Fedora 17 and a Thinkpad w530
Hello,
I am a little bit desperate since I do not mange to connect a external monitor to my new Thinkpad which is, apart from that, running pretty smothly with Fedora 17. I tried to activate it with xrandr but only get
VGA2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
In System Settings -> Display and Monitor the section for VGA2 is disabled and I cannot activate it.
I also tried several different monitors. Did anybody here experience the same problem or know a solution?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
Do you need to press some sort of keyboard combo in order to change the display out? E.g. Function+F7
Also, does it need to be enabled in the BIOS?
