Do you have to use Red Hat Linux? If not, you may want to go with a Linux distro that is designed to be a router, a couple examples are:

If you have time to kill, head over here and look at an exhaustive list of Linux as a Router distros. The ones I already mentioned are among the most popular.
If you really want to do it yourself, it is quite doable. You'll just need to enable IP forwarding in the kernel, and do some iptables stuff. Guides abound on the net for this kind of thing. Have you looked? Here is one that is Red Hat specific:
