So I'm trying to install a touchscreen driver that is made for kernel v 2.6 on Fedora 18.

    Firstly, is this possible?

Second, anyone have any idea how I would do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 3.x kernels that FC18 is using has significant differences as far as drivers are concerned when compared with 2.6.x. Here is a link to the ELO driver download page: Elo Touch Solutions — Driver and file downloads It seems their latest Linux driver supports both 2.6 and 3.0 kernels, so that may work.
