[SOLVED] Custom installation DVD linux, skipping one rpm!!

Hi Guys,

I have a custom dvd installation of CentOS 5.5 which installs new and updated RPMS from the iso, but I have a problem...

The installation works correctly except for 1 rpm, that doesn't get installed!

This rpm is located in the iso and mentioned in the repo.xml

but doesn't even get listed in the /root/install.log at the end of the installation, completely ignored.

Instead all other rpms get installed normally... This rpm in case you want to know is MegaCli

is there any other place where I can look to debug this issue?

Hi,

Is the RPM package name explicitly listed in the %packages section of your kickstart file? Or, better, are you using a kickstart file, either on your CD, or elsewhere?

Well... "The never ending story"; the main warrior's name was Atreyu and his amulet was the Aulin... I don't follow sports and had no idea that could even be a real name :P
