    Angry No.s of HDD information

    Hi

    OS = CentOS 5.3 x64 | 2.6.18-128.el5PAE
    Hardware : Hp G6 Servers.

    Server is build on hardware RAID on which LVM is created, on which Linux is installed.
    Now what is needed is the no.s of HDD and their sizes.
    Cannot restart the OS as its live.
    Have only Terminal access. Please advise.

    You will need the hpacucli utility.
    Get the rpm here and install it:
    HP Array Configuration Utility CLI for Linux - HP Business Support Center

    Call it and then use e.g. this command:
    Code:
    hpacucli
    ctrl all show config detail
    You must always face the curtain with a bow.
