    screen offset centos

    hi all,

i am having an issue with my laptop. the screen is basically offset an having play around with this for the past 10 hours hasn't helped.

i have read articles on xvidtune which aparently is deprecatd to configuring xorg an etc but still my screen is not centere

however this is fixed if i put my laptop on stand by and bring it back on. in this case the screen will calibrate and centered for that one session only .

when i run xorg -configure it give me an error saying

number os screen created does not match number of display detected but can not figure out how to fix this.

my laptop is asus and the graphic card is intel

all helps will be highly appreciated

can you check to see if you have an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file? if so can you post its contents?
