    quirky realplayer

    I just installed realplayer on FC3 followed this post. However when I play the test video on the page using realplay, the video is garbled (the sound is alright). Plus, when I click on Tool > Preferences, realplayer crashes with
    Code:
    *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x083cc7e0 ***
    /usr/bin/realplay: line 75: 21390 Aborted                 $REALPLAYBIN "$@"
    can anyone tell me how to solve the problem? Thanks.

    Not sure how to fix Realplayer, but you're better off with MPlayer or Xine, as they can both play Realmedia files, and are, IMHO, very much better.
    You might try re-installing/updating glibc and/or Realplayer though.
