    Angry Centos 6.4 (64 bit) hangs up whenever WiFi is detected!


    I have two machines with Centos 6.4, I used ndiswrapper to install D-Link DWA-130 onto the machines, but whenever WiFi pops up, the machine just hangs up, I was totally frustrated!!!!


    Is this a bug with Centos 6.4?

    I tried another brand of adapter, same chip RTL8192SU, same issue! Can someone help me with this? Thanks

    I had much the same issues with Ubuntu a couple of years ago, ndiswrapper just didn't work at all, a few other people couldn't get it to work properly either, what I ended up doing is going with an Asus N-13 usb adapter, the Asus website even lists Linux as am OS it works with, I own about 4 of them now, one for each PC, they are relatively cheap, Ebay had some good buys on them, hope that helps.

    I figured out what kind of adapters are supported by Centos 6.4, then buy that on eBay, in my case, startTech USB555WG
