    Hiding the bootloader


    Hello I am new to fedora linux I came from linux mint. I would like to know if it is possable to hide the bootloader. I heard you can make it so if you want to access it you press and hold shift.

    Take a look at the /etc/default/grub file. If you just want to boot directly without seeing the menu you can change the GRUB TIMEOUT to 0. There are two options for GRUB HIDDEN TIMEOUT which may do what you want. I haven't used but it seems it would do what you want. I'd have a Fedora CD around in case it doesn't do what you want so you can go back and change it.
