Installing punbb on centos
I'm trying to install punbb 1.4.2 on centos 6.4 but I'm using an ubuntu guide because I can't find any for centos.
It was running fine until I had to access localhost/forums/install.php to install a config.php
I got an error 404 stating that the url forums/install.php was not found on the server
The url for the guide can be found here ---> www(dot)help.ubuntu.com/community/PunBB
Can anyone teach me how to solve this problem?

In CentOS/RHEL/Fedora distros, the apache process is called httpd. The document root is /var/www/html , as opposed to /var/www in Debian distros. So, make sure your forum directory is in /var/www/html, assuming you're using default apache config.
Make sure apache is running by visiting Open Source and Linux Forums on your CentOS machine. Also, if you're running SELinux, you need to set the correct file contexts, or disable SELinux.
