    KVM or XenServer

    Hi folks,

I want to virtualize my home server and thinking of using one of KVM or XenServer.
I am familiar with KVM and I like it, on the other hand I want to learn XenServer as well.
The home server will be nothing fancy, I want to have 3 VMs (1 FW and 2 linux servers)

Which one would you suggest and why?

Looking on the net I came across Ganeti and Proxmox, is this a software that is installed on the "client" that connects to the server in order to manage the virtual machines?

    Thank you in advance.

KVM allows more virtual machines to be able to run on the same hardware. I use KVM and VMware virtual machines and I find that KVM is faster. XEN is much harder to get up and running as compared to KVM. However, I do not use "VirtManager".
