fedora 19 how do I configure nfsd so that uses version 3

The sever I am trying to reach uses version 3. How can I tell systemctl restart that I want nfsd-mountd.service to use version 3? If I have to this permanetly that is OK but I would prefer to do it "on the fly". My error when it mount is:
mount.nfs: requested NFS version or transport protocol is not supported

SORRY FOR THE POST. MY MISTAKE. THE PROBLEM WAS ON THE SERVER SIDE. IT WAS BOOTED INTO A PARTITION INSTALL WHICH DID NOT HAVE NFSD RUNNING. STRANGE THOUGH ATTEMPTING TO MOUNT VERSIONS 1,2 OR 3 RESULTED IN THE MISSINFORMED ERROR. ATTEMPTING VERSION 4 RESULTED IN A TIMEOUT ERROR WHICH IS WHAT THE OTHER MOUNTS SHOULD HAVE DONE.
