    Question [HELP] Can't start DHCP service on Cent Os


    Hi all, can you guys help me with problems with dhcp services on Cent Os.
    I'm trying to configure DHCP server to 3 scope and configure a DHCP relay agent in router like sheme below.

    But not yet talk about DHCP relay agent. When i start dhcpd service on DHCP server it fail. So below those are my configure file and log file. Please help me out with this

    hello and welcome, vegeta_star!

    there is a misconfiguration in your dhcp config file. the error should be in your /var/log/messages (or syslog) file, but it is cut off, in the pic you posted.

    do this:

    in one terminal, su to root and start a tail of the log file:

    Code:
    tailf /var/log/messages
    hit Enter a couple of times so that you know when new data is coming in.

    then in another terminal, start up the DHCP daemon. now you should see the error messages in the first terminal. feel free to copy them back here for us to look at.

    so glad have you here! I did follow you and i think that's not quite different the pic posted before. It's all i got hope it make some senses for you help me out
