    fc3 won't boot

I'm installing fc3. Installation was a breeze, no problems or errors. BUT everytime it boots this message appear:

    Code:
    Booting 'Fedora Core (2.6.9-1.667)'

    root (hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
    Kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667 ro root=label=/
    [linux-bzImage, setup=0x1400,size=0x155da5]
    initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9.1-667.img
    [linux-initrd @ 0x1bf8c000, 0x60f29 bytes]

It will eventually boot after couple of minutes(5-10mins). Installing suse 9.2 didn't make a difference either. It gave identical message. Any ideas ?Thanks in advance

using a riva tnt2. No I didn't have a problem before. I doubt its the graphics card though because it will eventually boot.
