Hello - I have a a server here at home running Red Hat Linux release 9 (shrike) with Apache 2.0.40. I've been trying in vain to get virtual hosts working and I keep getting the test page. My error log has some lines about "Directory index forbidden by rule" I was thinking this might be related to permission, but I went an changes all the directories to be owned by the user Apcache and the Apache group. I'll paste in the VH section of my conf here:

NameVirtualHost 192.168.1.200

LockFile "/var/lock/httpd.lock"
CoreDumpDirectory "/etc/httpd"

<VirtualHost 192.168.1.200>
DocumentRoot /www/clickbridge/
ServerName www.clickbidge.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost 192.168.1.200>
DocumentRoot /www/zsummit/
ServerName www.zsummit.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *>
DocumentRoot /www/clickbridge/
</VirtualHost>

For good measure, I'll toss in a few lines from my error log:
[Sun Feb 20 17:04:09 2005] [warn] child process 13125 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Feb 20 17:04:09 2005] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Sun Feb 20 17:04:11 2005] [error] (1)Operation not permitted: mod_mime_magic: can't read magic file /etc/httpd/conf/magic
[Sun Feb 20 17:04:12 2005] [error] (1)Operation not permitted: mod_mime_magic: can't read magic file /etc/httpd/conf/magic

[Sun Feb 20 17:04:14 2005] [error] [client 67.4.94.96] Directory index forbidden by rule: /www/clickbridge/

I have no idea what that SIGTERM lines is about nore the magic references.

Thanks
