Konquerer and Firefox don't start up

    Hello,

I upgraded my Redhat 7.3 to FC3. When I log in as root I can start Netscape, Konquerer and Firefox. When I log in as me, I can only start Netscape. I used to be able to use Konquerer and Mozilla (Firefox predecessor). Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    - Dave -

I have found that upgrading a distro leaves many packages/programs that do not function correctly. A clean install is best, that way the file system is not sliced up.

you might have to change the permissions on those programs.

but i agree a clean install is probably the best way to go
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. All New Users Read This!!! If you have a grub problem please look at GRUB MANUAL
