I'm looking for GOOD c++ and visual basic compiler for linux. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

gcc for the C and i dunno on the vb but gcc might do it

VisualBasic is proprietary software, so there's no direct VB compiler for Linux. But you might feel comfortable with Gambas, a GUI Basic interpreter for Linux. I never used Gambas myself, though, so I don't really know how good it is.
