    Where did mysql go?


    Hello,
    I'm using RH9. During the installation I chose, "install everything". So mysql has been installed. Now i can't find it. Is it just command-line. Does it now provide gui, like windows DBMS?? I can't find it in the menu (i use gnome). Please help me guys. I wanna start my project as soon as possible. Otherwise i'll have to do in windows. I DON"T WANNA DO THAT!!!

    MySQL does not come with a GUI, you have to download one by your self from www.mysql.com
    There are couple pretty good ones.
    MySQL Admin
    MySQL Query Browser
    MySQL Control Center <- This one is the one I do preffere though
    But then that is a matter of personal preference
    Hope this helps you out.

    Btw, your database files are located at "/var/lib/mysql"
