    can mount data cd but can't play or rip audio FC3


    any program that i use can't access the audio on the a cd and doesn't even realize there is a drive there.
    xine, helix, noatun, kscd, grip, kaudiokreator, xmms, all will not access the cdrom.

    also can't eject from the KDE GUI, but can mount/unmount.

    any one know what's up or can help?

    During installation did you enable selinux? if so disable it. Also run all your updates to fix some bugs when fc3 was released.

    I'm actually going to reinstall and disable selinux that way, (I wanted to make some other changes as well). How would you disable it without reinstalling just for future reference?
