    Windows not seeing linux files


    I am running 9.0 redhat and my box sees the windows machines and the windows machines dont see the box.... im using Cygwin on the windows machines to run a grahpical enviornment so i dont have to use the other system... and im yusing the server to shar files... so umm anyone help? thanks

    You need SAMBA to exchange files between Windows and Linux machines. Cygwin can run Linux apps within Windows, but it is limited by the limitations of Windows. Once you have SAMBA running, you should be able to access the Linux files from within Windows, or from within a Linux app run within Cygwin
