lvm problem - adding a new scsi drive
Iím using rhel4.
I have 2 scsi drives with lvm.
I want to add a new 73,4 GB scsi.
I did as following:
1.) fdisk /dev/sdc
I've created 2 primary partitions and I've set type to 8e.
2) pvcreate /dev/sdc1
3) vgextend vg00 /dev/sdc1
4) lvextend -L +20G /dev/vg00/lvhome /dev/sdc1
5) I should resize the file system ( here Iím stuck).
Now comes the problem.
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/extendlv.html says I should use resize2fs or e2fsadm.
There is no resize2fs or e2fsadm on rh3el4. ( https://www.redhat.com/archives/naha.../msg00054.html) What should I use? How?
I also need to add a scsi drive to another rhel3 system which already has 2 scsi. it uses lvm1. What is different? Can I follow the same steps as for shel4?
Thanks a lot.
