Which distribution/version of Linux are you going to install.

with Fedora Core 4 you don't need to install any Jumpdrive driver as it automatically mounts the flash and jumdrives when you connect them.

    Thumbs up Touchstone Telephony Modem

    Hi jean

I just got connected to a cable service today and they gave me the Arris Touchstone Telephony modem also. No problem at all. With Linux and Mac the Touchstone is ethernet only so just plug it into your ethernet port and you're away. You only need to set up your email account manually and you might need to make sure DHCP is on in your firewall settings as most cable providers use it.

I'm using Kubuntu which is the version of Ubuntu that has a KDE desktop. I recommend it for home users like myself.
