    Run command on startup


    Is there any way I can run a command before the login screen? I am new to Linux and I want to try running rdesktop to make it a TS client.

    Im not sure how to run a command before you log in, but if you edit ~/.bashrc and put a command there, i think it will run everytime you log in. but also will probably run everytime you open a terminal...

    Yes, it would, helped me to run a command on a ssh session logon
