iptables-restore error "cannot initializetable 'filter'"
I've recently installed Yellow Dog Linux (obviously not Red Hat, but there's no forum for it, and I think they're fairly closely related) on my beige PowerMac G3.
When I boot, iptables-restore reports the follow error message:
"Applying iptables firewall rules: iptables-restore v1.2.9: iptables-restore: unable to initializetable (sic) 'filter'
Error occurred at line: 3
Try 'iptables-restore -h' or 'iptables-restore --help' for more information."
My iptables file is system-generated; I haven't touched it. For reference, here is the file:
