    Equivalent to Show Desktop?

I am running Tao Linux (variation of RH Enterprise) and would like to know if there is there an equivalent command or shortcut to minimize all open windows (apps) with just the desktop displaying?

    Thanks,

I use CentOS (also based on RHEL) and it has Gnome as its default windowing environment. Gnome has a toolbar at the bottom that shows open windows for applications you're running as well as letting you switch virtual desktops. At the far left (on mine) there is a little icon that looks like a desktop. Try clicking that and see if it does what you want.

In most implementations of KDE you can right-click the panel, select Add to Panel -> Special Button -> Desktop Access to add the button. Not sure about Fedora since on the rare occasions I use it I use Gnome.
There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.
