    hi ,
    i am trying to work on embedded systems .i have fedora linux 3.i want to know whether RTlinux patch can be installed on fedora and whether it works.also where can the patch be downloaded from.

    here is a link to ftp server for rtlinux:

    The latest kernel it supports is the 2.6.9 series, it will not work with anything newer than that. Most of teh rtlinux patches are for the 2.4 kernels.

    I dont know if it will work properly with stock fedora kernels, but best way of running it is to compile your own 2.6.9 kernel.

    Syncronization between RTLinux & GPOS


    i have an application in which i am calling backhand(RTLinux) from GPOS.
    I am opening a fifo in RTLinux, writing data contineously into it and reading it in the GPOS. but i have Syncronization problem in reading and writting the data.

    is there any method to Syncronization both ends.

    pl help????????????
