    fsockopen error (13) permission denied

    Hi,

I have a web service implemented using NuSoap. I moved it to FC4, but I am getting a permission denied message.

    The message(s) are:
    2005-10-13 13:14:59.150654 soap_transport_http: set SOAPAction: ""
2005-10-13 13:14:59.150892 soap_transport_http: entered send() with data of length: 722
    2005-10-13 13:14:59.152998 soap_transport_http: connect connection_timeout 0, response_timeout 30, scheme http, host 223.0.0.65, port 80
    2005-10-13 13:14:59.153183 soap_transport_http: calling fsockopen with host 223.0.0.65 connection_timeout 0
    2005-10-13 13:14:59.161297 soap_transport_http: Couldn't open socket connection to server http://223.0.0.65/WebServices/UpdateDBServer.php, Error (13): Permission denied
2005-10-13 13:14:59.161649 soapclient: Error: HTTP Error: Couldn't open socket connection to server http://223.0.0.65/WebServices/UpdateDBServer.php, Error (13): Permission denied

The web service files are under /var/www/html/WebServices.

What and where should I enable access to? ie. Folders, ports, etc. It does not give any clue.

    Thank you,

    Carlos

For anyone woh can use this.

I found the problem was related to SELinux configuration.

The firewall is enabled on my server: policy type is targeted, enforcing current is checked and HTTPD scripts to connect to the network were not allowed.

Where: Desktop > System Settings > Security Level > SELinux > httpd > HTTPD scripts to connect to the network was unchecked.
I checked it and it is working now.

    CL.
