    Turkish installation problem in FC5

    Hi everyone,

I've installed Fedora core 5 in the last two days and have noticed a small problem. I downloaded the five installation CDs, burned them as ISOs and then did the media check on every single one at the start of the installation.

When it came to selecting which packages I wanted, I selected everything. As an aside, the FC5 installation does not have the "Select all packages" option like FC3 and FC4 had, so I had to click and select everything manually.

The problem was with Turkish language support. When I clicked the box for this, a message came up instantly saying "Exception error" and forced me to reboot the computer. When I did the installation a second time I didn't select this one language option but selected all the others, and it worked fine.

This was for a desktop PC, so I assumed that the problem was something specific to that computer. I then did an FC5 installation on my Packard Bell Easynote laptop and the exact same thing happened, i.e. if I clicked on Turkish language support I got an exception error, but if I didn't select it then the installation was fine.

It's not particularly a problem as I'm never likely to use Turkish, but I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this problem too. I downloaded all five of the installation ISOs directly from fedora.redhat.com

    Thanks,

    Daley
