    Fedora Core 5 Installation Error

    I just installed Fedora Core 5 after installation it says "Please remove all media used in this installation and reboot." I took out my DVD and rebooted.

    I got this error

    Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition
    I have 2 harddrives (one for Windows XP and one for Linux, I am still experimenting (trying to migrate from windows)) and I selected Remove all partitions and create default layout on my harddrive without Windows. It did the installation fine and I think I did something wrong... Anyone know what is going on?

    It's an error in GRUB. Perhaps this will help.

    I can't help much more. I use one hard drive that I have partitioned for Ubuntu and Fedora. Can't you just re-install fedora and let GRUB search for the other operating systems itself?

    I had to reinstall Fedora Core 5 while the Window's harddrive was not hooked up...
