    uploading issues: binary/ascii problem

    Hi,

It thought through the console would be an easy way to transfer things to my "free webhost". Simply by setting up a connection to my webspace and copy dirs and files. But then I found out the html pages can not be displayed. They have been transferred as binary instead of ascii. Where can I take control of that?
I know it can be done from a terminal window, but using mput * then I will have to give an enter for every single file.

Has anybody a more simple way of handling things like this?

    Thanks.

Try using an easier program like gftp
