TFTP -- error in transfering....
i'm a newbie to linux. i need to use a TFTP SERVER. i'm using redhat linux-Enterprise 10. i have installed the following two packages that came along with the installatin CD :
i had edited the /etc/xinetd.d/tftp as follows:
protocol = udp
port = 69
socket_type = dgram
wait = yes
user = nobody
server = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd
server_args = /tftpboot
disable = no
i entered the following steps:
$ sudo mkdir /tftpboot
$ sudo chmod -R 777 /tftpboot
$ sudo chown -R nobody /tftpboot
$ sudo /etc/init.d/xinetd start
$ netstat -l -u | grep ftp
udp 0 0 *:tftp
$ tftp localhost
tftp> get foo
After this nothing is coming .... it stays there ...
I had also turned off the firewall setting .. but still cant find a way...
Can anyone provide any suggestions/solutions for this...?
Thanks in advance....
