    Problem with my resolution


    Hi everybody!
    I have Vesa Driver in my laptop with "800x600" of resolution (configuration by default). The thing is, i want to change to 1024x768. I changed the xorg.conf to:

    SubSection "Display"
    Depth 24
    Modes "1024x768"
    EndSubSection

    but nothing happens.... i don't know what to do!!
    Help me!!!

    Hi,

    You donít have to changed the xorg.conf...what thatís for?? umm..what kind of distro you have there?Have you tried the X-configurator??==>run in command line...but in Fedoracore to changed the type of resolution you can find it in the Application menu.
