Can anybody tell me the best way to do this. Can't seem to find rpm and install via build starts going into kde libraries, make files etc which I'm a bit vague on. Help apprectiated.

hey its pretty straight fwd. all you do is:
1 - cd into the umbrello directory
2 - type:
a - ./configure
b - make
c - make install
d - make clean (this is if you don't want the distro binaries kept on you machine)
then you look in the development under your accessories i think it is in KDE and you should see it listed in there hope this helps;
