    Umbrello install

    Hi all

    Not too experienced in linux installs but need to get the latest version of umbrello on my fedora/kde linux machine. I have version 1.5.3 but need to upgrade to the latest version. Can anybody tell me the best way to do this. Can't seem to find rpm and install via build starts going into kde libraries, make files etc which I'm a bit vague on. Help apprectiated.

    uname -a returns

    Linux pul38 2.6.12-1.1378_FC3 #1 Wed Sep 14 04:24:31 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

    KDE version that comes up on help (don't know any different way to get relevant info) is Revision 3.00.00 (2002-01-1

    Thanks for your help

    hey its pretty straight fwd. all you do is:

    1 - cd into the umbrello directory
    2 - type:
    a - ./configure
    b - make
    c - make install
    d - make clean (this is if you don't want the distro binaries kept on you machine)

    thats it.

    then you look in the development under your accessories i think it is in KDE and you should see it listed in there hope this helps;
