After installing Fedora 5 on a Compaq r4000 laptop, I am still struggling to get the wireless card to work. It is a BCM4318 card (pciid: 14e4:4318 (rev 02)). I have followed the ndiswrapper installation instructions. It is now installed. When I try to install drivers, I get an error message that they are invalid drivers. I am fairly certain that I want to be installing the bcmwl5 or bcmwl5a driver. I would apreciate some suggestions as to what I am doing wrong. I am new to Fedora, and would like to get it to operate.
thanks,
Iris
