    Exclamation Uninstalling Cinelerra

Hey all, I'm completely new to linux (i've been on FC5 for about 2 days now) and am having issues with Cinelerra. I want to try a clean install, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to uninstall my current version. I know it's a very simple question but if anybody could help me out I would be more than grateful.

    Hey bnjmnmrtn,
    How did you install Cinelerra?
Did you install it using an RPM? rpm -e cinelerra
    YUM? yum remove cinelerra
From source code? Have a look at the INSTALL file, in the cinelerra directory.

    MikeTbob:
I installed it from source, but there is no distinct INSTALL file for the program in the source (I assume that is what you were referring to by the cinelerra directory). There are, however, 21 install files for different components of the program (freetype, libdv, etc). What should I look for?

Well, wherever you got the instructions to install the program, is probably where you need to look for removing it. Is there no file named README or INSTALL in the cinelerra directory?
have you tried the cinelerra website?

If this is the right website, I can't get any links to work.
