I have setup my ftp on Fedora 5 successfully for Hello All,
I have setup my ftp on Fedora 5 successfully for the most part. Iím having troubles uploading to my ftp directory using a test user part of my ftp group that has all the permissions set for write on my ftp directory. Firewall has ftp set to as an exception and SELinux is disabled for it as well.
I receive this error with cute ftp pro 7.
STATUS:> PWD skipped. Current folder: "/Share/ftp-files".
COMMAND:> PORT 192,168,1,100,4,38
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.
COMMAND:> STOR lol.bmp
553 Could not create file.
ERROR:> Access denied.
I have tried ever combination for this to work. Killing the firewall setting different permissions and so forth. I belive that Iím missing something so easy and if so I must be going crazy if someone can point me to an already existing thread somewhere in this universe that I canít find that would be great too.
