    Install of amorok successfull but it doesn't put a link on the menu

    I install amoroK and it appears to be successful. At least Add/Remove Programs says it's successful. But amoroK usually puts a link on the Kmenu. Now it doesn't. AmoroK is installed, at least it shows as installed on the installed programs list in Add/Remove Programs and in yumex but it doesn't show up on the Kmenu, under Multimedia, where it usually does. Does anybody know what's going on? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling both with Add/Remove Programs and yumex but it doesn't do any good.

    Thanks,

    royeo

    hi royeo !!!

    $ which amorok
    this will show the path where amarok is installed....

    you can edit Kmenu to add it... or create its symlink on Desktop...

    $ ln -sf <amorok location> /home/<user name>/Desktop/Amorok
    (its like windows shorcut...)

    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
