Please Help - Wireless Internet Questions

I am new (brand spankin new) to linux but love what I see so far. I installed fedora on my older PC and would like to use wireless internet on it. I have a linksys USB wireless adapter and was wondering how I can get it to work with linux? If not, can I use an orange crossover cable, hooking the linux PC to a Windows notebook, and use the notebook as some sort off internet hub for the Linux PC? Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey schmaltzy,
You can probably get your card to work with linux. I recommend that you start here and follow those directions.
If you get stumped or lost, come back here and ask for help.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
All new users please read this.** Forum FAQS. ** Adopt an unanswered post.

I'd rather be lost at the lake than found at home.
