    Because I'm stubborn, and if other people have done it on FC5, then I will continue to bang my head up against the wall until I do it, too.

    I'm not here to just get the solution and leave... I want to learn this O/S. So, be prepared; whoever helps me figure this out, I will be asking a lot of "whys" and "howcomes".

    I have use that LAN card since FC2 without problems

    Boot from Knoppix Live CD. Knoppix is good at hardware detection. If it works in Knoppix then NIC is good and Fedora installation/configuration is messed up.
