    You could try using
    yum remove packagename
    But I guarantee it's going to create a Dependency problem with ALOT of packages. It's up to you to decide if you need these other packages (dependencies)

    There is a problem with cups so I decided to install the OS again just using the 1st 2 CD's. Will that work?
