    help on installing drivers how do i ???

    hi, finally i got fedora to work with my lcd, after days lol.. (thanks to the people who helped me here)

    anywho,

    the problem im having now is that the highest my display will go is 800x600, how can i change this?

    i've downloaded a linux driver for my integrated graphic card, and its a .tgz and got another one just incase with an extension of .tar.gz how do i install these????

    in terminal execute this command

     system-config-display
    configure display settings !

    one more quick question, before i start reading the installation process..

    im in the gnome mode, how do i switch to KDE?
    (i have installed it , when i was installing fedora, i just dont know how to switch to it)

    yes. install driver for graphics card.

    log off and in main screen,( screen in which you enter username and password ), look for button 'session', select KDE from list and log in.

    hi, i logged off, but i just got to a command prompt, i didnt see any buttons on the bottom. i know which buttons your talking about, but i didnt see em, is there a command i should type at the command prompt?

    i think you didn't install KDE ( K Desktop Environment )
    type 'kcontrol' in terminal/konsole. does KDE control center pop up?
