    SLAPD wont start


    I am trying to set up LDAP on an FC5 box with the default instalation of openldap. I have configure slapd.conf but when i try to do
    # service ldap start it gives me

    Checking configuration files for slapd: config file testing succeeded
    [ OK ]
    Starting slapd: [FAILED]

    I dont know what to do next
    Pleas help

    errr,,, update

    when I comment out the TLScertificate lines, and i use
    # service ldap start it gives
    Checking configuration files for slapd: config file testing succeeded
    [ OK ]
    Starting slapd: [ OK ]

    there is also a line for slapd on ps aux

    but when i do
    #service ldap status it gives
    slapd is stopped


    and i dont think the service is listening on the required port (389)
